Good morning Penguin Families,

Championship Meet registration is now open in SwimTopia!

If your swimmer is eligible and you already know they plan to participate, you are welcome to register at any time.

Please keep in mind that Saturday's final regular season meet is the last opportunity for swimmers to improve their qualifying times. Because of that, your swimmer's Championship qualification may change after Saturday's results are posted. For example, a swimmer may move from Bronze to Silver, or from Silver to Gold in a particular event.

If you register before Saturday, we encourage you to review your swimmer's Championship qualifications again after Saturday's results are posted to ensure you are registered for the Championship Meet you wish to attend. If you're confident Saturday's results won't affect your swimmer's qualification, I would encourage you to complete their registration now.

A few important reminders:

• Swimmers must have competed in at least two (2) GASL dual meets to be eligible.
• Swimmers may compete in only one (1) Championship Meet.
• Eligible swimmers may compete in a maximum of three (3) individual events and one (1) relay.
• Championship participation is completely optional.
• Championship registration closes at 6:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, following our meet against Southdown.
• Championship entry fees are $3.00 per individual event, per swimmer.
• Entry fees are due by 6:00 PM on Saturday, July 11. Payment instructions were provided in my previous championship guidance email. 
• Volunteer information for Championship Meets will be shared with participating families on either Monday, July 13th or early Tuesday, July 14th.
