Hello Penguin Families!

To our new families; Welcome! And to our returning families, Welcome Back!  The official start of practice is one week from today, on Tuesday, May 27.  NEW SWIMMERS ONLY are expected to participate on this day for their first look.  If you're a returning swim family and would like to stop in to say hello, we'll be there!  The first practice for returning swimmers is Wednesday, May 28. 10 and under swimmers will swim from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  11 and older will swim from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. This will be the schedule for Thursday, May 29, as well.  The other coaches and I will determine final practice groups by Sunday, June 1. Inclement weather is prevalent this time of year. If practice is canceled, an announcement will be made as soon as possible, through Swimtopia.

Registration is open through the end of the AACPS school year.  For insurance purposes, a swimmer must be registered to be allowed in the pool during tryouts and any swim practice.  If you know of a swimmer interested that cannot make the first week of practice, please have them send me an email.  We can work out a first look at another time.  If you've forgotten to register, don't worry, there's still time!

The Truxtun Park Penguins Swim Team Meeting is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, May 21 at 7:00 pm.  Registered families, interested families and families with previously registered swimmers will receive an invitation via Google Meets prior to the start of the meeting.  If you have any comments, questions, complaints, or concerns please connect with me.
